Farrah Lady

FARRAH LADY U 1,3 1991-2006
Farrah Lady was produced in 1991 by flushing 293/3 to our J- Fifteen bull. As a young heifer she exhibited extreme eye appeal. Many requests to purchase her as a yearling heifer were turned down. Performance
oriented, long-necked, smooth, clean up front and a one of a kind individual for our L2 Ranch Maternal Cow Family Breeding Philosophy. She excels in progeny production from diverse sires. Farrah Lady proved her performance qualities as a first calf heifer by producing a young bull which weaned at 684 lbs, and that bull was was selected from our entire 1994 Pick of Weaned Bull calves that sold in our 1993 Sale. Her second natural
calf, a heifer, weaned at 728 lbs and proved her value at a very young age. Her Maternal EPD’s are 19.0 with high accuracy. Her calves have been consistently in the top of our herd in both weaning and yearling, while recording minus BW EPD’s. Farrah Lady has strong maternal traits, both top and bottom, and has all the Total Balanced performance traits and deserves to be called a Top Quality Donor Female. She has proven herself over the last fourteen years in production of quality maternal females and several herdsires. She also has the distinction of producing a bred heifer that sold in our 1999 sale for a breed record price of $50,000.00 and still a record. In our 2003 sale there were 11 young females by Farrah Lady from 5 different sires that sold for $69,200 or an average price of $6291. Her proven performance, and progeny production ranks her as one of the breed’s quality donors.
