CAPTAIN LUCEY L2 116/01 U 1,2 2001-

He is a BBU trait leader in both Weaning Weight and Yearling Weight and his accuracy is outstanding for a young sire. His carcass traits were REA: 1.19, BF: 0.32, IMF: 2.80 while his individual performance recorded a 70# BW, 205 of 866# and a 365 of 1230#.
Captain Lucey is a prepotent line bred sire by our Synergy daughter “Milk & Honey” and sired by Infinity. His maternally bred pedigree attests to his total balanced performance breeding. At the Houston Livestock Show in 2002 and 2003 we highlighted our Proven Predictable Balanced Performance Breeding Program with Captain Lucey on display.
He is extremely well muscled, strong topped and has length of body. All of his calves are showing good carcass traits together with their excellent weight performance. One of his daughters, “Lucey’s Lady”, a young donor L2 18/04 U 1,2, scanned near the top of the pack with an IMF of 4.09, REA/cwt 1.21 and BF 0.28. Look at his calves in this sale, they all reflect his solid breeding ability.
